B.Sc. Human Nutrition or Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition is an undergraduate Nutrition and Dietics course. Human nutrition is the provision to obtain the materials necessary to support life. The degree course is designed to meet the requirements for Pre-med, dental, optometry, pharmacy and other post-graduate programs in the health care arena. The course includes the composition of food, human requirements for nutrients and how the body processes food and nutrients. The course also provides the basis of knowledge required for enhancing health and fitness in individuals of all ages, and in groups and communities. The course presents them with the relevant aspects of human nutrition, meal planning, economics, preparation, physiology, public health, biochemistry, and psychology. The duration of the course is three years and it is an important and job orienting in nature.

- Students should have passed 12th class with minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate in Physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, B.Pharm., BDS or applied science from the recognised school board.
