The acts of teasing, taunting, playing a practical joke upon someone, holding comic parades & other in disciplined activities which cause or likely to cause annoyance, undue hardship, physical or psychological harm, raise apprehension or fear in a fresher or make them perform an act which causes shame or embarrassment or also includes wrongful restraining, confinement, injuring, threatening or using criminal force.

• Playing The Fool
• Verbal Torture
• Hostel Ragging

POSSIBLE PUNISHMENTS

• Cancellation of admission
• Suspension of attending classes
• Withdrawing scholarship/Fellowship and other benefits
• Debaring from appearing in any test and examination
• Suspension / expulsion from the hostel
• FIR with the police and arrest
• Debaring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival etc.
• Expulsion from the Institution and consequent debarring from the admission to any institution.
  Rustication from the Institution.
