About Chitkara University

Chitkara University is a private university having campuses in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Chitkara University offers full-time undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in the fields of Engineering, Information Technology, Management, Hospitality and Hotel Administration, Architecture, Pharmacy, Mass Communication and Journalism, Architecture, Pharmacy, and Teacher Training. The University was founded in 1998. Historically, Chitkara Educational Trust established its first campus named Chitakara Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) in Punjab. It is located on Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway, 30 km from Chandigarh. Chitkara University is a government-recognized university and is spread over 50-acre with Punjab campus.
