Course Description
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is one of the popular disciplines of engineering pursued by a large number of engineering aspirants every year.
- It integrates two terms of engineering i.e. electrical engineering and electronics engineering.
- B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the undergraduate degree which is awarded after the completion of 4 years of study in this field.
- The course follows a semester system with a total of 8 semesters. The tuition fee for the course ranges in between INR 3.5 to 10 lakh.
- The engineers of this field have the duty to develop, design and test electrical equipment.
- They work on a variety of electrical components, systems, electronic devices, microchips and power station generators. During the course, students will study subjects such as control systems, signal processing, microprocessors, radio frequency design, power generation, advanced digital signal processing, communication systems, electromagnetic theory, low noise amplifiers, etc.
Job Prospects:
- The job outlook for electrical and electronics engineers is really good. They can work in fields such as power generation, telecommunication, IT industries, power generation industry, rail industry, aerospace industry, marine industry etc.
- Students can also go for PSU and government sector jobs like UPSC IES. Besides this, they can also apply for jobs in power substations, national power plants, civil services, defence services, banks and railways.
