About Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition

The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Shillong, was established in 2001 in Meghalaya. IHM Shillong offers 3 undergraduate diplomas and one Bachelor of Science Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. Admissions to the diploma programs are made on the basis of the merits achieved by the applicant in the qualifying examination i.e. the 12th Board Examinations. Admissions to the B.Sc course is made on the basis of the rank received in the NCHMCT JEE Exam 2020. 

The placements of this college are noteworthy. The placement rate is quite high and the top recruiters of the college are Oberoi Group of Hotels and Le Meridian.
