About ITM Vocational University

ITM Vocational University, Gujarat (ITMVUG) is a Private University focused on providing Vocational Education; it is in fact India’s first Vocational University. ITMVUG is part of ITM group of Institutions of Mumbai with campuses in other part of the country as well. ITM Vocational University has been approved in March 2014 by the Government of Gujarat. The University has integrated General Education Stream and Vocational Education Stream in higher education space. In the process both the stream are developed the programs to assure employability, professional qualification and international recognition. ITM has developed various sector specific programs, designed the curriculum considering general education component and skills specific components with the help of industries partners. The ITMVUG campus is spread on Highway No. 63. at Vadodara.

Facilities at ITMVUG

Hostels – There are separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The hostel facility is granted to the students on the basis of merit.

Library - The Library comprises of Reading Rooms, Journal Section, facilities for Photocopying, Data processing and Internet browsing with good collection of books and Journals of both Indian and foreign publications.

Classrooms – The class rooms are equipped with multi-media and audio-visual equipments to facilitate effective learning. These have ceiling-mounted LCD projectors, roll-down screens, green boards and podium for Faculty.

Industry Collaborations - ITMVU Gujarat and Herzing University, USA signed articulation agreement to share a commitment to student success in higher education. The articulation agreement between ITMVU and Herzing University enables management undergraduates and post graduates get credit transfer from ITMVU to Herzing University and get USA degree with one year study and stay and get an opportunity to get one year optional practical training post study. All this with affordable fees in USA.

Laboratory - The Laboratory is equipped with the all required Materials and Machineries of Engineering and Health Science courses.

Cafeteria – The Cafeteria at campus is having seating capacity for 100 Students.

Auditorium - The University has an Auditorium/theatre with audio-visual aids, OHP and LCD facilities. It can accommodate 200 students and is available for conducting regular orientation programmes.

Internships and Placements - ITM Group has global collaboration with reputed Universities/Institution abroad for various sectors like finance and financial markets, hospitality and health services, other sector specific programs, engineering and other technical courses. Due to strong linkage of ITM with industries and global collaboration’s students get opportunities for internship and also get moulded in industry environment which helps further in placements.
