About Institute for Career Studies  - ICS

Institute of Career Studies (ICS), earlier known as the Institute for Civil Services was established in 1972 as a part of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) with recognition from the Government of India. The aim of the institute is to impart theoretical and practical training and guidance to the youth interested in vocational professions. The institute offers Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma courses in the fields including Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Aviation and Nutrition, in addition to language courses in French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese. Specialised Bank exam preparation training is also imparted. Each of the courses has been carefully designed according to the requirements of the industry and are periodically updated. Personalised attention to each student is a hallmark of the institute and helps increase the mental alertness of the students.

ICS was launched in the early 70s as Institute for Civil Services, primarily to train the students preparing for civil service examination.

The ICS is professionally supported by experienced New Delhi YMCA Secretaries and the management committee of professionals who bring the variety of subject knowledge from different domains.
