About Behala Institute of Allied Health Sciences 

The Society, Behala Institute of Allied Health Sciences was formed by Doctor, Paramedics, Lawyer & Social Workers with the sole objects of spreading the benefit of Vocational Training to generate maximum number of self-employment.
In line with the objects, a Vocational Training Institute was formed with proper infrastructure in the name as INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES at Behala, Kolkata in 2004 under affiliation of West Bengal State Council of Technical Education to run paramedical courses.
Gradually, the Institute became authorized study centre of IASE Deemed University, EIILM University & Bharat Sevak Samaj. All the trainees could pursue Certificate, Diploma & Degree in one Institute under same roof.
In 2008 for the first time we have participated in Scheme for Skill Development for Registered Job-Seekers by Ministry of Labour, Govt. of West Bengal.
From 2009, the Institute, directly run & managed by the Society, is registered as Vocational Training Provider under DGET, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, in Modular Employable Skill (MES) scheme.
From 2010 onwards we have been participating in “Skill Development” scheme of West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation.
Armed with the expertise on vocational training & experience of providing training for last 10 years & placement records of more than 80% candidates under the belt, to reach the benefit of vocational training to the candidates from different District, the Society has ventured to start branches at Berhampore (Murshidabad), Karimpur (Nadia), Amtala (24 PGS-South).
All the branches are run & managed directly by the Society, with the same objects & principles. All are also recognized by the Statutory Bodies / Government Department. We do not award any Certificates but making the Certificates more meaningful securing the job in Pvt. Healthcare Organization / self-employment.
Our Society is registered in DARPAN portal of NITI AYOG, National Skill Development Agency, Govt. of India. We are an approved Vocational Training Provider under PBSSD, DTET&SD, Govt. of West Bengal.
