As a start, Central Instrumentation Center (CIC) has gained an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (Model : AA 240, Make : Varian VB, the Netherlands) utilizing a piece of the award given by the UGC under the plan 'Restoration of Basic Scientific Research in Indian Universities/PG Colleges'. It will be utilized by the branches of Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics and Zoology for different exploratory works. In not so distant future, CIC plans to obtain (1) Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), (2) Vacuum Evaporation Unit (Coating) with adornments, (3) XRD, (4) XRF, (5) Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS), (6) Total Station, (7) 42 inch Colored Scanner, (8) Astronomical Telescope(Compound Telescope), (9) High Speed Refrigerated Centrifuge (10) Automatic Weather stations, (11) UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer, (12) Fluorescent Spectrophotometer, (13) HPLC, (14) Monochromator, (15) Fiber optics toolbox, (16) Ultra Probe Sonicator and so on. Additionally, UGC has given an award to the College for Maintenance of this Center under the plan 'Instrumentation Maintenance Facility (IMF)'.
