M.Tech. Plastic Engineering/Technology or Master of Technology in Plastic Engineering/Technology is a postgraduate Plastic Technology course. The program prepares individuals to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of synthesized macromolecular compounds and their application to specific engineering uses, including the development of industrial materials with tailored properties, the design of lightweight structural components, the use of liquid or solid polymers, and the analysis and control of polymerization processes. The course two years duration and it provides the opportunity for the study of more advanced theory and practice in plastics materials, design and processing.

- The students should have passed a B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (4 Years) in Engg. in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Polymer/Tool Engineering or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Chemistry with specialization in a polymer with minimum 60% marks
