Ph.D. Pharmacy or Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy is a Doctorate Pharmacy course. Pharmacy is a profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences and it is charged with ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. The course undertakes the research work in depth and details. After completing the research work the candidates must submit the ‘thesis’ (a collection of documents) to the respective department. Ph.D. Pharmacy Eligibility
- A master’s degree is required to gain admission to a doctoral program. In some subjects, doing a master’s in philosophy (M.Phil.) is a prerequisite to start Ph.D.
- Candidates with masters or equivalent degree in any of the branches of science in a relevant discipline of Pharmacy or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate and who are qualified to receive Junior Research Fellowship after passing CSIR/UGC NET, DBT JRF Examination (a category) are eligible to be interviewed.
