About  AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences

A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences (ABSMIDS) is located in Mangalore and was established in 1985. It is accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’. It is affiliated to Nitte Deemed to be University and is approved by Dental Council of India, Government of India. It has 13 departments such as Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology, Oral Implantology among others. It offers various courses in Dental Sciences such as BDS, MDS, PhD, Certificate and Fellowship. Shetty Dental College admission in BDS programme is based on NEET UG, which will be conducted on September 12. The institute has international collaborations with Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany and Cleft Children International Zurich, Switzerland for its Certificate courses.
