Start your MBA journey right after class XII

Several students remain disinterested in their basic graduation degree that promises nothing concrete. The Integrated Programin Management (IPM) is the answer to the problem. Anyone interested in Management can get into the correct stream right after class XII. They get the best exposure and finish their MBA in 5 years. This is possible because of the Integrated Program in Management (IPM) offered by five IIMs for students after class XIIth. Started in 2011 by IIM Indore, the Integrated Program in Management was one of its kind. Since then, four other institutes including IIM Rohtak, Ranchi, Bodh Gaya and Jammu have also started to offera similar programme. The IPM program combines the bachelor's and master's in Management in a 5-year format. IPM is in two parts - the first three years to build a foundation, and the last two years focus on Management. The foundation has three major elements:

  • Courses in Maths, Statis tics and Economics build analy tical rigour
  •  Courses in Psychology, So ciology and Political Science along with Economics provi de knowledge of core di sciplines
  • Courses in Science, Engineering, Humaniti es, Literature and Fine Arts provide a combi nation of analytical rigour
  • After 3 ye ars of study of foundational di sciplines, the IPM students train as mana gers along with the students of the 2-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Exams to get into the IPM of one of the IIMs are:

    IPMAT Indore: IIM Indore conducts its entrance test, while the test scores are accepted by IIM Indore and Ranchi. IP MAT Indore has 60 questions divided into three sections with a time limit of 30 minutes for each section and a +4 for every correct response and a -1 for incorrect response. The three sections are Short Answer Ques tions in Quantitative Aptitude, MCQ in Quantitative Aptitu de and MCQ in Verbal of Ability.

    IPMAT Rohtak: The exam consists of 40 questions each on Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning of and Verbal Ability with a time limit of 40 minutes for each section.

    JIPMAT: IIM Jammu and Bodh Gaya offer admissions to students based on the jointentrance test conducted by NTA. This exam has three sections with a total of 100 questions and a time limit of 150 minutes.
