From Ideas to Impact: Rise of an Entrepreneurial Culture

Through incubation, mentorship, funding support, and structured innovation pathways, Manav Rachna is creating an ecosystem where student ideas evolve into enterprises.

Late evenings inside Manav Rachna’s innovation spaces rarely feel quiet. In one corner, a team tests a robotics prototype before a demonstration. Nearby, students refine business models over laptops, while another group prepares a pitch that could potentially attract mentors, funding support, or industry attention. The atmosphere feels less like a conventional campus setting and more like the early stages of a startup.

Across higher education, student ambition is changing. Increasingly, young innovators are exploring how classroom ideas can evolve into products, technologies, and scalable businesses. Through incubation, mentorship, funding support, and structured innovation pathways, Manav Rachna is creating an ecosystem where student ideas evolve into enterprises.

The institution’s innovation and incubation foundation has already supported more than 110 startups, backed by over Rs 2.12 crore in seed capital deployment. Eligible ventures registered under Startup Haryana may further access funding support of up to Rs 5 crore, creating significant opportunities for early-stage ideas looking to scale.

Unlike conventional incubation models that begin only after an idea is fully formed, the process here starts much earlier. Students are encouraged to move through a structured innovation journey spanning:

  • Ideation
  • Prototyping
  • Business Model Development
  • Intellectual Property
  • Market Strategy

This ensures that innovation is treated as a sustained process of development.
