The Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre in India has announced the guidelines of 2022-2023 Taiwan Scholarship (for degree) and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship on their official website. Interested students can submit or send in the application form along with the required documents to Education Division TECC in India from February 1 till March 31 2022. The Taiwan scholarship is open for students aspiring for undergraduate, master and PhD degree.
There are two types of governmental scholarships. The young generation may plan a roadmap to succeed in the semiconductor and many more fields of their interests.
The MOE Taiwan grants 40,000 NTD as the tuition fees for the scholarship recipients every semester. Apart from the tuition fees, the MOE Taiwan provides each recipient undertaking university undergraduate studies a monthly stipend of NTD 15,000, it provides each recipient undertaking a master's degree or doctorate studies a monthly stipend of NTD 20,000.
The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship aims at encouraging international students to learn the Mandarin language in Taiwan. The duration of the scholarship is three months, six months, and twelve months. The MOE grants the HES recipients 25,000 NTD as a monthly stipend. Last year, there were 72 awardees. All aspirants need to submit the application form with the required document. For Taiwan scholarship applicants, he/she should send a copy of the highest degree certificate and academic transcripts (CGPA 6.0 and above).
