About G. Pulla Reddy Dental College and Hospital

G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital, the pride of Kurnool town, is a brainchild of Late Sri.G.Pulla Reddy (10.01.1920 to 9.05.2007), the renowned philanthropist and humanist. He became to known to all as sweets Pulla Reddy. Though he became famous nationally, internationally, he always thought about his native district and people. His love and care on the society manifested in the form of various institutions. All the institutions established are under G.Pulla Reddy charities trust founded by G.Pulla Reddy in 1977.

G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital was established 2006 with an annual intake of 50 into BDS course and was inaugurated by famous and nationally known radiologist Padma Bhushan Dr.Kakarla Subba Rao on 18th September 2006. The college had no teething problems with the generous grants pragmatic guidance of Sri. G. Pulla Reddy and his successor Sri. P. Subba Reddy, the college has made steady progress and has become a premier institute of health education. The college is primarily known for its discipline and value system. Sri. G. Pulla Reddy belonged to the school of thought and practice that believes "Virtue is its reward & work is worship" and this idea formed the basis for all activities on the campus. The institute is following the Principles of Sri. G. Pulla Reddy Garu and uncompromising insistence on quality in education made the GPRDCH the benchmark for health education.

G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital affiliated to Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. The UG program (BDS) has recognized by Dental Council of India, New Delhi in 2010.

G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital started MDS courses (PG Program) in the speciality of Dept of Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge, Dept of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Dept. of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Dept. of Oral Pathology & Microbiology in 2012. Dental Council of India recognized all four specialities in2015

We have started PG programs (MDS) in the Dept of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Dept. of Periodontics in 2013. Dental Council of India recognized the two specialities in 2016.
