Law was Introduced as a Faculty in the year 1967 of Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. (PG) College. Since 2005 it has become a separte full-fledged Law College. Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Law (PG) College is situated in the heart of the city near Sukhadia Circle on N.H.-62. The college has touched the new heights of glory under the dynamic leadership of Shri jaideep Bihani, President, Seth G.L. Bihani S.D. Shiksha Trust. This college has the credit to produce a number of Judges, l. A. S. , R. A . S. & other administrative officers & Judicial Services.In the words of Swami Vivekanand, ‘Education is the manifestation of perfection already existing in man.’ The time is changing very fast. Globalization, liberalization and privatization have shifted the focus of education on quality. Quantity of education is spreading. Because of this spread in quantity the issues of quality are now emerging. Quality at all levels of education is the demand of hour. The need is to focus on concerns of quality with special reference to infrastructure, methods of teaching, curriculum. teachers, administration and management. Legal Education is education concerning the most vital areas of social life for the simple reason that in modern times the law provides the machinery as well as the technique for societal regulation. In a democracy the responsibilities of the law and in that measure the legal eduction assumes a greater importance.

College has evolved as this region’s premier institute. The college provides a platform for a sound balance of academic learning, recreational atmosphere and infra structural support for the students along with cultural awareness, continuing endeavors of innovative teaching-learning methods, self- learning through individual and collective projects, well researched and documented dissertations; and, importantly, learning through experimentation.

All these are distinct and unique features ofthis college. To achieve the goal of raising the standard of legal education students are trained by exposing them to live problems, situations and circumstances, through group- discussions, periodical tests, seminars, conferences, court visits, moot courts, Police Station Visit, legal aid camps and legal literacy camps. With meritorious results and vast infrastructure, the college is affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner and also permanently affiliated with the Bar Council of India & has also permanent NOC from the Commissioner, College Education, Rajasthan. It is a matter of Proud for the institution that Miss Prabhjot Kaur has selected in Delhi judicial Services.
