Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji, the 23rd Pontiff of Sri Jagadguru Veerasimhasana Suttur Math, is the architect and founder of JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP) which came into being in 1954 has witnessed enormous growth in the field of education.

A young child who joins a JSS Institution seeking education may go on to become a scientist or an engineer, or a technologist or a doctor or a philosopher. JSSMVP thus has all the facilities that shape the youngster into a good citizen of the country.

Under the leadership of the present pontiff, the 24th Peetadhayaksha, Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, the JSSMVP has not only established educational institutions in places where necessary, it has also made sure that all these institutions impart quality education. Engineering, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy and Law Colleges run by JSSMVP are reputed to be the best educational institutions of their kind in country. JSSMVP has more than 350 institutions in its umbrella spread across the country and beyond.

JSSMVP has expanded its jurisdiction by establishing another Mahavidyapeetha at Ghaziabad, UP, is running an Engineering College, JSSATE and Public School in Noida. JSSATE is one of the leading technical education institutions in the NCR in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
