About  Charotar University of Science and Technology 

Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) is established under the Gujarat Act No. 8 of 2009, Government of Gujarat. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has empowered CHARUSAT to award Degrees under Section 22 of UGC Act 1956. It aspires to advance learning and knowledge by teaching and research relevant to the Society. It is spread over 105 acres.

The University Trusts

The University has two Trusts or the founder namely Matrusanstha (A group of Patidar villages) and Kelavani Mandal, it started functioning from 1994 after getting registered as a not for profit Education Trust with Charity Commissioner’s Office.
