Devo Mahesh College of Engineering & Technology, Sukrut, Sonbhadra Uttar Pradesh has been promoted by Shree Ganeshay Namah Educational and Charitable Society, founded in the year 2008 by the professional entrepreneurs , which includes sound technical background qualified IITian & Engineers , with a view to meet present industrial and technological need of the nation thus serving nation through education and development and technical criteria.

Devo Mahesh College of Engineering & Technology, Sukrit, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh offered Diploma courses i.e. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Production) and Civil Engineering are affiliated and approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi.

The institute has been promoted by Shri Ganeshay Namah Educational Society, a social service organisation registerd under the socities registration act 21 of 1860, Taking cognizance of the commitment of HIST to the cause of excellence and missionary endeavors, various bodies have accorded approval to DMCET.
