About Vision Institute of Technology (VIT)

Vision Institute of Technology (VIT), Kanpur was established in the year 2008 and is affiliated to Gautam Buddha Technical University. The mission of VIT Kanpur is to produce engineers to face not only the upcoming challenges of industry but also necessities of any modern society, providing good Engineering education by utilizing of expert teaching staff in the making of engineers.

Campus

The VIT has a sprawling campus in 15 acre land on main NH-2, on Kanpur-Allahabad Highway, just 7 km from RamaDevi. The campus houses an administrative office, labs, library, spacious classrooms, conference halls, Lecture halls, and a Faculty chamber.

Facilities

The institute provides all the basic facilities for a comfortable and productive student life. The facilities at VIT campus includes integrated Wi-Fi enabled campus, well equipped labs for all the departments, library with over 20,000 books, National & Inter-national Journals, E-books, Audio/Video CDs and Multi-media collections, recreation centers, Cafeteria, hostels and sports facility.
