Swami Darshananand Institute of Management & Technology (SDIMT) is situated at NH 58, Delhi Haridwar Highway. SDIMT is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and is Affiliated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UK).

Swami Darshnanand Institute of Management and Technology started with the vision of creating a new breed of young, dynamic and astute technicians and technocrats who are ready to face the challenges and grab opportunities presented by the forces of global technical environment. The Campus of SDIMT is situated on the bank of Upper Ganga Canal at NH-58, Delhi-Haridwar highway. SDIMT polytechnic offers 3 year diploma course in various fields of engineering The Institute is duly approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and affiliated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee.

The Great Saint Swami Darshnanand Saraswati established Gurukul Mahavidyalaya in the year 1907 on the bank of holy Ganges which is managed by a registered society Mahavidyalaya Sabha that runs a mix of oriental and modern courses to cater to the needs of students from various sections of society. Keeping in view the specific demand for the professional education in Haridwar SDIMT was launched under the aegis of Mahavidyalaya Sabha. As there was no facility for the girl students of Haridwar and adjoining areas to enroll for the professional courses like MBA, BBA and BCA and they had to run to far off places for this purpose, SDIMT started such courses under one roof. Thus in the year 2009 a new Campus was developed to specifically conduct professional educational courses and a Two Year Full Time MBA Program was launched. Expanding its wings SDIMT has also added BBA, BCA and Polytechnic from the session 2010-11. The institute has well qualified staff to teach different courses.
