Established by SMS Society in 2008 as center of excellence at Lucknow. School of Management Sciences, Lucknow has received B++ grade accreditation from NAAC – National Assessment and Accreditation Council (An Autonomous Institution of the University Grants Commission) Ministry of HRD Govt. of India in a very short span of 10 years. SMS is the only Institute and the youngest to have B++ Grade in Lucknow among the colleges offering Engineering and Management Courses and 4th in U.P. in the same category. SMS, Lucknow offers MBA affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow and approved by the AICTE, Ministry of HRD, M.Com., BBA, BCA, B.Com & B.Com (Hons.), B.Voc, B.Sc, BJMC (from Lucknow University,), B.Tech programs (from AKTU, Lucknow) with ME, CE, EC, EE & CS branches, Polytechnic (from Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh) with Mechanical (Production) and Civil Engineering.
