About Hukumchand National Institute of Science and Technology

HNIT stands today at out skirts of Ajmer, in the western part of India and center part of the Rajasthan-the culmination of the vision of one man to bring higher education facilities to the people of this area. About 20 Km. radius there was no college for Higher Education. The academically inclined would have to travel to Ajmer city. This was a difficult proposition-physically and financially-for many.

HNIT  is managed by Competition Plus Sansthan, registered under Rajasthan Society Registration act in year 1999. College is affiliated to MDS University, Ajmer and approved by Director College Education Rajasthan and Rajasthan. govt. It’s a self financing Institution, promoting Co-Education.

The setting up of the Higher education college was envisioned in year 2005. Dr. Dinesh Chandra Sharma and Mrs. Pushpa Sharma, educationists, set up Hukumchand Noble Institute of Science & Technology in the memory of their father Pt. Hukumchand Sharma.

The college which had a humble beginning with a handful of students and teachers is now imparting education to thousands of students from surrounding villages and towns and also from remote areas. The college is functioning in an ideal and peaceful atmosphere of cohesion and unity with perfect coordination between different sections and picturesque surrounding away from noisy, crowded and polluted atmosphere of urban life.

At HNIT, academics is not just books and examination. It is about developing the correct attitude to life.
