About Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad 

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Avadh University, Faizabad was established in 1975 by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. It is approved by AICTE, UGC and ICAR. The University was renamed as Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in the memory of late Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia who was an epic socio-economic idealist and freedom fighter on excellence. The University started with the opening of PG departments in History, Culture and Archaeology, Economics and Rural Development. The university stand firm in terms of providing quality education and making an explicit mark of excellence.
