Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCSU) is NAAC 'Grade B+' state university that was established in 1965 and is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The campus has five faculties with 22 UGC sponsored and 35 self-financed/ job oriented courses with a total of 252 institutions, 109 colleges, and 1 constituent college affiliated to the University. The University offers Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Agricultural Sciences, Earth Sciences, Teacher and Physical Education, Fine Arts, Legal Studies, Applied Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Journalism, Mass Communication and Multimedia Techniques, Home Science, Business Studies, Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Censoring. The students are given admission on the basis of merits as well as the entrance test conducted by the university.
