About Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida

Shiv Nadar University (SNU) Delhi NCR, popularly known as SNU Noida is a private university that is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). In 2020, it was ranked 56 for both University and Private Universities by the NIRF. Established in 2011, by the Shiv Nadar Foundation, it currently offers over 20 UG, PG, doctorate and diploma courses under multiple streams, such as Management, Science, Arts and Research, among others. However, it is popularly known for its courses in Engineering, Management, Science and Business Administration. 

At present, the University offers full-time courses through its five constituent institutes, namely School of Humanities & Social Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Natural Sciences, School of Management & Entrepreneurship and Academy of Continuing Education. The University campus comprises a total of 24 departments and nine research centres for streams like Science and Technology. It has recently introduced an online MBA degree programme in collaboration with Great Learning. The University conducts an entrance test (SNUSAT) for admission to most of the courses, namely BTech, BSc, BA and BMS. Other than this, it also accepts several national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT and UGC NET for admission to a few of the UG/ PG and PhD courses. The University is currently accepting applications for UG, MBA and DSAB courses. Candidates can register by visiting the official website of the University.
