About  Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University

With a mission to impart women education, in 1993 Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole emerged as an educational institution in Jaipur Rajasthan. The name of the organization was given in the memory of a social reformer Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole, who worked for the emancipation of women. He was the profounder of women education, who worked day & night to bring social changes for alienated & deprived sections of the society. The organization is working on the same principle of women education & empowerment.

Started with a small college in Arts and then and spreading its wings to MJRP College of Education, Ambassy Millennium Senior Secondary School, Ambassy School of Nursing, Human Resource College of Veterinary Science, MJRP College of Engineering & Technology, MJRP College of Corporate Management. University was established in 2009 sprawling over 100 acre of land at Jaipur-Delhi highway. The institution with various educational colleges has made astonishing strides in the field of education during the short span of time.

Today, MJRP aims for the advancement of knowledge & education through excellence and leadership in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Arts, Commerce, Management, Information technology, Law, Agriculture, Home Science, Fashion Designing, Education, Health Care Science, Allied Sciences Journalism and related areas. Under the guidance of excellent faculty, one can explore both theoretical and practical courses that prepare you to meet the needs of an increasingly complex society. Guru Shishya Parampara

Teachers not only impart academic knowledge to students but also shape their entire personality. To foster the culture of strong bonding between students & teachers, our University innovated mentorship programme, Guru Shishya Parampara which facilitates healthy interaction between teachers & students. The basic aim of this system is to provide a holistic environment where students can recognize their talents as well as develop new ideas, knowledge, skills & responsibility.

Enhancement of practical knowledge

To nurture the students with latest technological tools, periodic visits to various Technological parks, Botanical gardens, Zoological parks, Arboretums, Biotechnological Institutes are regularly arranged. Along with this, industrial visits, excursions and tours are institute's regular feature.

Apart from this, training facility is also provided for students to impart practical exposure at various institutes, hospitals and industries.

Recreation

It has been a regular feature of the institution to honour those people who have commendable work in the field of Science, Arts, Sports & Music. In this context the institution has honoured IPS Kanchan Bhattacharya, Grammy Award winner Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Ms. Gurmeet Baba & Ms. Sanjeevani.

The institution also organizes Shan-e-Mausiki & Ruh-e-Mausiki to honour artists in the field of music & art. Hussain Bandhu & Priyanka Maliya are honoured in this regard.

Throughout the session recreational programmes like Teej Mahotsava, Dandiya Raas, Lohari are organized & Indian festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Talk shows & welcome of well known personalities are also organized with zeal to entertain students.

NSS Activities

With a motto of “NOT ME BUT YOU”, National Service Scheme (NSS), an Indian government sponsored public service program underlies that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on welfare of society on the whole. To make students aware of the importance of some significant dates & days, NSS programmes are organized regularly at our University through celebrations, activities, cultural programmes, competitions, awareness programmes, lectures, debates, etc. These activities involving both students & teachers through their combined participation in community service get a sense of involvement in the tasks of social harmony & nation building.

Media & Mass Communication

Our University houses publications of two newspapers Raj Vaibhav & Jai Rashtra Mangal Times which are daily & fortnightly issues respectively. These newspapers publish current news, ideas, information, events, articles which are beneficial for students & others. Apart from enhancing the creative skills of the students, the in house publication also helps in providing job opportunity to the media students.

Extra Curricular Activities

Along with course curriculum, it is commendable to have enough activities to keep the mind fresh & body fit for the next day. Keeping this in mind the institute organizes extra-curricular activities. National and International Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums, Guest Lectures, Group Discussions, Competitions, Debates are held from time to time for updating student's Knowledge.

Food Cafeteria

Spacious & well-maintained canteen has been designed to make dining, comfortable and enjoyable. The canteen not only maintains hygiene but also serves healthy & nutritious food. The entire canteen has a pleasant ambience making it a good hang out place for students.

Accommodation and Commuting Facility

To provide residential facilities to the students, our University provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The affectionate, cooperative, warm and homely atmosphere for about 200 inmates is there in the campus. Hostel for students in the campus is enriched with comfortable well ventilated rooms & well furnished rooms. The hostel mess provides hygienic and quality food to the students with comfortable dining space. Apart from hygienic food, hostel provides recreational facilities which include common room, indoor games, Television, P.C.O. booth etc.

Our University provides facility of commuting which gives special provision to students to avoid difficulty to reach from far flung areas of the city. A fleet of buses is there for this purpose.

Library & Reading Room

Our University has a well equipped, spacious, Wi-Fi accessing library having ample amount of national and international books, journals, periodicals, magazines & reference materials. Book Bank Schemes is available for students in which a set of books are allotted to students for academic session.
