About Government Polytechnic College for Girls

The G.P.C.G college was established as an education center in the year 2005 with the aim of imparting high quality education in various fields to the upcoming youth of the region, and to make them self reliant, confident young skilled workers, entrepreneurs and qualified profession. This would not only alleviate, to some extent, the unemployment problem, but also meet the large requirements of the skilled and qualified personnel in various fields. The college has to its credit, a very vast and beautiful infrastructure, surrounded by superb pollution free and lush green environment. Also, it is located along the Pathankot-Amritsar highway on the Beharampur road. The nearest railway station-"Dinanagar RS" is only 4km away. The college also has its own transport system to ferry the staff and students from adjoining towns and village to the college. The Polytechnic College provides the basic theoretical and practical training in fields like Computer Engineering.
