About Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engineering and Nano Technology

Rayat-Bahra Institute of Engg. & Nano Technology, Hoshiarpur was started in 2008 . This Institute is affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University Kapurthala and approved by AICTE, Delhi. The Institute has highly qualified staff and is equipped with excellent infrastructure including laboratories equipped with latest technologies The institute offer professional courses in engineering and technologies The Institute also provides the best Placements in the region.

The institute is located just outside the old city of Hoshiarpur on a national Highway and is well linked with bus stand and railway station. The campus is spread over an area of approximately 32.63 acres with lush green lawns and playgrounds for variety of games, with calm atmosphere all around which comprises of  buildings of high-standard, seminar halls, classrooms, laboratories, computer labs, workshop with proper ventilation, equipped with modern day facilities like projectors, wi-fi, biometric etc, digital library which provides a serene atmosphere for deeper and concentrated study is fully automated with a growing collection of 19335 volumes. In addition to these, the institute has a separate computer center. It also owns a generator set to provide uninterrupted power supply during classes and exams mainly.

The institute has a language lab where students are able to listen, practice and learn at their own pace and get individual attention from the teacher who monitors each one’s progress. The institute also provides excellent, well furnished and comfortable hostel accommodation separately for outstation students with strict overall supervision of the management. Moreover, the hostels are eco friendly as they are equipped with solar panels to provide uninterrupted power supply. Wardens of each hostel take care of adherence of discipline, academic interest etc in the hostels. The institute has excellent mess facilities at affordable cost to suit variety food habits of students along with a cafeteria in the campus.

The institute has well equipped gym having weight discs, dumbbell sets, pull up bars, squat stations etc and are strictly for college students and staff. The students and faculty can avail the First Aid and Sick room facility and college has kept a permanent Ambulance in case of any emergency situation which can also be used by the nearby villages. To ensure hassle free and safe transportation of staff and students, the college buses are plying to and fro from Jalandhar, Dasuya, Phagwara, Mukerian, Garhshankar, Una, Nangal, Mahilpur, local Hoshiarpur city and villages etc. Our Institution also provides 24-hours Punjab National Bank ATM facility for students and staff.
