About Buddha Institute of Architecture and Town Planning

The students gradually learn that architecture, planning & designing has always evolved under the influence of at least four forces that is history and culture, social aspirations, climate and evolving technologies. The Department intends to bring in the fifth dimension to these forces- sustainable development, through its emphasis on two important facets- ‘taking less from the Earth and giving more to people’ and ‘think global and act local’. The department intends to operate courses on design from micro to regional levels – like basics design courses, interior design and physical planning, besides architecture.
