About Jodhpur National University

Jodhpur National University (JNU) is Deemed University and the First Private University of Western Rajasthan. The University has been established by the Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur Act, 2009 of Government of Rajasthan and is recognized as per sec. 2(f) of the U.G.C. Act, 1956. JNU materialised with the strong vision of CA. Kamal Mehta, Chairman of Kushal Education Trust. He brought together the already running Engineering College, Dental College, Pharmacy College and Management College, to form a University i.e. Jodhpur National University in the year 2008. Jodhpur National University has been setup to meet the needs of people of Rajasthan in the field of professional and technical education. JNU’s courses are recognized by UGC, BCI Bar Council of India, AICTE - All India Council For Technical Education, DCI - Dental Council of India, PCI - Pharmacy Council of India and NCTE . The University is situated in the suburbs of Jodhpur and is housed in a sprawling campus of 31 acres of land.
