About Ganga Institute of Technology and Management, Jhajjar

Ganga Institute of Technology and Management, is a private institute that was established in 2008 in Jhajjar by the Pawan Ganga Educational Society. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak.

In 2020, the Institute was ranked 74 for Engineering by Times. At present, the Institute offers UG, PG and diploma programmes in several streams, such as Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, Management and Computer Application. Ganga Institute of Technology and Management is the only College in Haryana to win prize in ‘Smart India Hackathon’ organised by AICTE (A National Level Contest) for three consecutive years 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Adding to this, 690 students are University Rankers in 2018-19 Exams out of which 29 students secured 1st Position in the University.

The Institute is designed as Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs by IIT Delhi under the subsequent directives issued by the MHRD. It also organises a spoken tutorial in collaboration with IIT Bombay. Under this tutorial, the Institute provides audio-visual training to the students for education in distance learning mode. The Institute campus has a library with more than 44,000 books and e-journals with computerised search, issue and returns facilities. It also offers an Inter-Library Loan facility to its students through the Developing Library Network (DELNET). The college has more than 3000 Students from 9 Countries & 26 States of India. Ganga Institute of Technology and Management has a collaboration with IIT-Delhi for Virtual Labs & IIT Bombay for Spoken Tutorials.  The college has many Industrial Visits and Expert Lectures, with National and International Conference as a biannual feature
