About Amity University - Lucknow

Amity University (Lucknow) established under the aegis of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. It is a non-profit education trust 20 years. Amity today is the leading group of educational institutions in India, wherein 1,00,000 students are pursuing over 240 programs. It is spread over 30 campuses.

Over the years some of the brightest students from Uttar Pradesh have come to study at Amity's state of-the-art campuses in Delhi and Noida. Now, Amity brings the same global standard education right to your doorstep by establishing the hi-tech Lucknow campus, operational from August 2004. Amity University Facilities

Hostel - The on-campus hostel for 2000 students has air-conditioned apartment suites with an attached bathroom and sitting lounge.

Classrooms – The institute provide spacious, amphitheatre style & air-conditioned classrooms for dynamic and focused learning.

Libraries – The libraries at Amity have a collection of over 1.25 lakh books, periodicals, references and over17,000 online journals.

Auditoriums – The institute has state-of-the-art auditoriums with a combined capacity of over 600 and acts as a common ground for regular interfaces, conferences and other events.

Sports Facilities – The university has sprawling sports complex with facilities for many outdoor and indoor games.

Cafeteria & Eating joints – These are on-campus and offer multi-cuisine dishes.

Security – The campus has strict security through smartcards, biometric readers, latest IP cameras, fire warning systems, 24- hour guards and patrolling Gypsys.

Sports Scholarship Facilities - To attract talent in sports, Amity University announces sports scholarships. The Criteria for Admission is:-

• Minimum academic eligibility for the respective program should be met, as mentioned in the Admission prospectus 2013.
• Age should not be of more than 23 years as on 1st July, 2013.

NRI Students’ Facilities- The University also gives educational opportunities to foreign students. For admission to specific program, the requirement of subjects studied will be same for both National/ Foreign Students/ NRI as prescribed in the Admission Prospectus.

Anti Ragging Facilities - Ragging is totally banned in Amity University campus including its departments, constituent units, all its premises (academic, residential, sports, canteen etc.) whether located within the campus or outside and in all means of transportation of students whether public or private, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/ or abetting ragging is liable to be punished appropriately.
