About Goswami Ganesh Dutta SD College, Chandigarh

Goswami Ganesh Dutta College Chandigarh or SD College Chandigarh was established in the year 1973. It is accredited with an A+ grade by the NACC  and has achieved the status of ‘A College with Potential for Excellence ‘ by UGC. The college ranked 99th in all India Ranking by NIRF, MHRD, Govt of India. The college is affiliated with Punjab University and has many collaborations like:

• Students exchange programs with Business School, France

SD College, Chandigarh has its own training and placement cell which is responsible for creating employment possibilities for its students. The cell offers the facility “ Earn while you learn”  in which students are placed during their internship period. Around 70 reputed companies have continuously coming to the college campus for conducting their placement test. The college departments of Commerce and Management, BioSciences, and Physics as ‘Star Departments’ by UGC.
