About Punjabi University, Patiala

Punjabi Assembly established Punjabi University, Patiala under the Punjab Act No. 35 of 1961. The University foundation was laid by Dr S.Radhakrishnan the president of India. The university is approved by UGC, AICTE and is accredited “Grade A” by NAAC. Punjabi University courses are offered many courses from its departments, regional centres, neighbourhood campuses, constituent colleges, affiliated colleges and distance education. It offers various courses at UG, PG, Diploma, certificate and doctoral. The university has a lush green pollution free campus in 316 acres campus since 1965. This university has affiliated to it.
