Culinary Institute of India & CITMS, Burdwan Culinary Institute of India (CII) & Centre for Information Technology and Managements Sciences (CITMS), Burdwan was established in 1996. Its affiliated with University of Burdwan. Its a unit of Durgapur Society of Culinary Skills and Management Sciences (DSCSMS), a nonprofit making autonomous body registered under Govt. of West Bengal. CITMS is one of the highest rated hospitality and tourism programs in the India. It is an enlisted approved center of Lovely Professional University, and has long been been associated as a channel partner under industry collaborative program, of Annamalai, Vinayak Missions University, Shobhit University in association with Delhi Degree College. The campus is spread over more than three acres of land. The campus is self sufficient and contains all the in-house facilities. It is located on the National Highway No.2 or Durgapur Expressway, a 10 mins drive 12kms from the city centre and 4kms from Durgapur railway station.
