Arcot Sri Mahaalakshmi College of Hotel management & catering Technology was established in the year 2014 under the TRUST. The TRUST has constructed a spacious building as per statutory norms laid by the NCVRT, New Delhi. The College is located at Vilapakkam Village, Arcot Taluk at a distance of about 5 K.M form the Arcot Town.. The college is situated in a very ideal and lush green atmosphere away from noise and pollution of citylife.

The goal was to provide a dining experience. Over the years however the founding fathers gathered a lot of experience and knowledge about the catering industry which they believed could be passed on to future generations of industry professionals.
