About GADAG INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences was started during 2014 in 54 acres of land, in the premises of District Hospital at Gadag. The Institute is located near the Mallasamudra village on the way to Laxmeshwar from Gadag. The college building covers 51,000 sq m. of area.

The institute is fully equipped with Laboratories, Museums, Examination Hall, Auditorium, Lecture Halls, Central Library, Staff and the Teaching Faculty. Construction of the Gymnasium will be completed soon.

A teaching hospital with 350 beds is attached to the Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences. Second phase of the plan will be upgrading the present hospital to a total of 750 beds. Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital has the goal: to provide optimum care to the patients by using advanced medical technology, to serve economically weaker sections of society and to produce socially committed Doctors.
