About Ramakrishna Mission Residential College

The Ramakrishna Mission Residential College in Narendrapur was established in the year 1960 and is an autonomous type of college. Ramakrishna Mission Residential College (RKMRC) Kolkata is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. Ramakrishna Mission Residential College Kolkata was ranked 15th among the colleges in India by the NIRF 2019 Rankings. It has also been accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ grade.

RKMRC Kolkata is only for boys. The total area of both the ashrama and the college is about 181 acres. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees under various specializations. Admission to these courses is strictly based on the merit scored in the previous qualifying examination.
