About Kirori Mal College

Affiliated to the University of Delhi, Kirori Mal College (KMC) was established in 1954. Accredited by NAAC with 'A++' Grade, KMC was ranked 10 for Science and 12 for Arts by The Week 2020. With an annual intake capacity of approximately 1,400 students, the college offers more than 40 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including BA (Hons), MA, BSc and BCom. At present, Kirori Mal College has 20 academic departments, including the Department of History and Department, Mathematics, Department of Computer Science, etc. For Kirori Mal College admission 2021, Delhi University will consider UG admission based on the merit of Class 12 this year, as declared by DU's VC. For the same, DU UG registrations 2021 will begin in the first week of August. 

Over the years, the college has formed MoUs with several organisations, namely The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (Noida) and The Construction Industry Development Council (New Delhi), among others. It also has a placement cell known as Avenues, which provides employment opportunities for its students. During 2020-21 placements, the college recorded the highest package of Rs 19.25 LPA and saw participation from top companies, such as DE Shaw, Deloitte USI, Ernst & Young, McKinsey and Accenture, among others. Not just this, the college has been a guiding light to some of the well-known alumni including Amitabh Bachchan, Shakti Kapoor, Sanam Puri and KK, to name a few.
