Sitamarhi Institute of Technology (SIT) is government engineering college wholly funded by Government of Bihar and administrated by Department of Science and Technology, Patna. It is situated in Sitamarhi district of Bihar.

Sitamarhi Institute of Technology, Sitamarhi is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. It was established in 2016 and offers 4 year B.Tech course in four disciplines of Engineering i.e. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. It takes admission in B.Tech programme through BCECE, Bihar. The college has been consistently maintaining excellent academic result.
