It’s a great honor to welcome you all to the School of Ayurveda DY Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. In present times, Ayurveda has become indispensable because of its unique approach. Ayurveda, the centuries-old traditional Indian system of medicine, believes in harmony of body, mind, and soul. It doesn’t just cure the disease but helps to prevent their occurrence and increase the quality of life too.

A strong foundation of eternal basic principles and individualistic approach provides unique dynamism to this science of life; hence Ayurveda has flourished, adapted, and progressed to become a comprehensive way of life today.

As a result of the astute and visionary attitude of Hon. DY Patil, this School of Ayurveda (Dr. DY Patil College of Ayurveda & Research Institute), Nerul, Navi Mumbai was established in 2004. The institute has further thrived under the stewardship of the new generation lead by our president Hon. Dr. Vijay Patil Sir. It is one of the finest and reputed Ayurveda Institute with undergraduate intake capacity of 100 students, post-graduate MD/ M.S. courses in 12 specialties with a total of 45 intake capacity and Ph.D. in 12 subjects. The institute also actively conducts various diploma and certificate courses related to Yoga, Naturopathy, etc. Keeping with our motto i.e. ‘Teaching Tradition with technology. Such endeavors help encourage fresh ideas and explore new avenues for students. This robust academic foundation is ably pillared by our expert and qualified teaching and non-teaching staff with constant and absolute support of management. Our institute is committed to providing evidence-based quality education of Ayurveda. Though keepers of heritage, we are proud to integrate the use of advanced technology in academics.

With a 152 bedded hospital, our institute is well equipped to serve excellent healthcare holistically. DY Patil Ayurveda Hospital, Nerul, Navi Mumbai is the first NABH Accredited Hospital in Mumbai region. School of Ayurveda is the first Institute to offer 11 value-added courses during Degree courses. Also first in India offer Simulation-based Ayurvedic Courses for students.
