PROGRAM OFFERED
NSO offers 4 years Bachelor of Science in Optometry (BSc. Optometry) course affiliated with RGUHS, Karnataka, where students shall undergo a period of certified study extending for three academic years followed by one year compulsory internship.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must have obtained 50% marks taken together in English, Physics, chemistry, Biology/Mathematics in the higher secondary Examination that is equivalent to 10+2. Candidates who have completed their 2/3 years of diploma in optometry can take admission directly in the second year of Bsc. Optometry. Admission to Next higher class is subjected to satisfactory Progress, behavior & attendance.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Selection is based on 10+2 marks and performance in the personal interview
ACADEMIC SESSIONS
The course commences in August of every year. It is a full time course with theory, practical and clinical session.
