About BK Mody Government Pharmacy College

B. K. Mody Government Pharmacy College is the only Government pharmacy college in the Gujarat State. The college takes pride that B.Pharm Program of college is  NBA approved till year July 2020. The college is managed under the aegis of Commisionerate of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat. The college offers diploma of pharmacy, bachelor of pharmacy as well as master of pharmacy program with a combined intake of more than 650 students. The sanctioned intake has prior approval of AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education).

Today, the college, owned by the Government of Gujarat is conducting M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics, intake 15., Quality Assurance, intake 15.,Pharmacology, intake 09), degree pharmacy (intake 100) and diploma pharmacy (intake 60), courses, under auspices of the Directorate of Technical Education, Gandhinagar.  The college is located at a distance less than 6 km from major public transport. Under able leadership of Professor and Principal, Dr. J. R. Chavda along with teaching staff of 5 Associate professors, 16 Assistant professors,1 H.O.D ( Diploma), 12 Lecturers, the college offers modern educational facilities like advanced instrumentation lab, machine room, wi-fi facilities throughout campus, medicinal plant garden, museum, computer lab, e-corner, audio-visual lectures on LCD projectors. The college also has facilities of boys hostel  with capacity of 76 rooms and girls hostel with capacity of 46 rooms.
