About Government College of Dentistry, Indore

College of Dentistry and Hospital, Indore is a Government Hospital and is managed by autonomous society of College of Dentistry.

It is one of the oldest education centers in the field of dentistry and serving since 1961 to the central part of the country. Considering it to be a government institute we are serving the society in the best possible way and it is the biggest referral centre for dental treatment requirements from nearby districts and neighboring states. We work on principle “Come to learn, Go to serve” as our alumni members are rendering dental services throughout the country and they are working in good position at abroad also.

Dentistry is a skill based medical science where students practice dentistry to practical/clinical knowledge. Our huge OPD helps the students to learn better as also our faculty teaches student in the best possible way.

I joined the institute in 1979 and serving this institute since 1983 onwards as demonstrator, lecturer, reader, professor and presently as principal, still my thirst to serve my almamater is increasing day by day.

Our institute has very dedicated staff towards discipline, research, patient care and focused to student teaching. Every year our institute students perform good in competitive exams and acclaim seats in NEET exam.

Our faculty members upgrade their knowledge through various activities at national and international level, they present their research work on different platform and keep the name of institute and Indore at high level.

We are committed to provide services as per international standard and it covers all variety of dental diseases from their diagnosis to complete treatment under one roof. We have all the latest equipments and include recent modifications also in our armamentarium.

Our future planning’s are to start post graduation in two more specialties as for conservative dentistry and public health dentistry. We expect our institutional building expansion also in near future with more facilities to the students and other activities.
