About Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology

Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology is also known as MACET, located in Patna Bihar. It is the oldest Private Engineering College of Bihar, established in the year 1987 by Millat Education Society, Patna.
It is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya.
It has been declared among the 20 best Colleges in Eastern India by Hansa Weekly Survey.
It imparts the technical education in various disciplines of Engineering such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
It has a sprawling campus which spread over an area of 18 acres of Land. There are well-equipped classrooms, Laboratories, Medical Center, Computer Labs, Wifi, Hostel and Mess, ATM facility, Transportation, Sports facility, Library with the Huge collection of Books, Cafeteria, Playground, Workshops etc.

• Application form is available on the college official website. Students can fill up the application form carefully with all required information and submit it along with a Demand Draft to College admission cell.
• To take admission to B.Tech course, students must have completed 10+2 in Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subject from recognized Board.
• They must have obtained minimum 50% marks in 10+2 examination.
• Students will be required to appear in Entrance Test conducted by the Bihar Private Technical and Professional Institutions Association.
• It is an offline Entrance Test which consists the questions of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The duration of the test is 2 hours. Admission will be done only on the basis of score obtained in Entrance Test conducted by Bihar Private Technical and Professional Institutions Association.
• Admission to B.Tech Lateral, students must have completed Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc with Mathematics from recognized University.
