B.Tech. Avionics Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Avionics Engineering is an undergraduate Space Science course. Avionics derives from aviation and electronics. It comprises electronic systems for use on aircraft, artificial satellites and spacecraft, comprising communications, navigation and the display and management of multiple systems. It also includes the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to meet individual roles, these can be as simple as a searchlight for a police helicopter or as complicated as the tactical system for an Airborne Early Warning platform. The duration of B.Tech. (Avionics Engineering) is four years and it may be less or more of it depending on the institute to institute.
Bachelor of Technology in Avionics Engineering Eligibility
- Students should have passed H.S.C. academic or its equivalent or in the vocational stream with engineering/Technology vocational subjects or any one or two related subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education and Training/Higher Secondary Board.
- Candidates seeking admission directly to the second year are required to have passed the Diploma Examination in Engineering/Technology conducted by the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent courses.
