M.V.Sc. Veterinary Public Health or Master of Veterinary Science in Veterinary Public Health is a postgraduate Veterinary Science course. Veterinary Public Health is a field of Public Health concerns that manages human health at the community level. The course deals with the control of contagious animal diseases and zoo noses, veterinary epidemiology and animal health economics. Besides a general knowledge of disease control and prevention, you will acquire the skills needed to develop and implement methods and strategies for surveillance and risk assessment, the control, prevention and eradication of disease in production animals and to evaluate the economic consequences of control strategies.
