M.Sc. Veterinary Microbiology or Master of Science in Veterinary Microbiology is a postgraduate Veterinary Science course. Veterinary Microbiology is concerned with microbial (bacterial, fungal, viral) diseases of domesticated animals (livestock, companion animals, fur-bearing animals, game, poultry, and fish) that supply food, other useful products or companionship. The course will provide you with an excellent grounding in molecular biology, immunology and microbiology relevant to the study of veterinary microbiology. This will lead to the study of the complex mechanisms of host/microbe interactions that are involved in the pathogenesis of specific animal diseases. The duration of this course is two years and it is career originating in nature that opens many job scopes for the candidates after its successful completion.
